Templates & Bulk Send

If you send the same kind of document repeatedly — NDAs, service agreements, HR forms — templates and bulk send remove the repetitive work.
Templates
A template stores a complete field layout: signer slots, every field with its type, page, position and options, plus the default message.
Saving a Template
- Prepare a document as usual: signer slots, fields, message.
- Click Templates in the builder toolbar and save the current layout under a name.
Applying a Template
- Upload a new document (same layout — e.g. your standard contract PDF).
- Open Prepare & send → Templates → apply.
- All fields and signer slots appear instantly; fill in the actual recipient names/emails and send.
Templates store signer slots (Signer 1, Signer 2, …), not specific people — so one template serves every counterparty.
Bulk Send
Bulk send delivers one document to many recipients, each getting their own copy — e.g. an updated policy that 40 employees must each sign.
- Prepare the document once, with the fields assigned to Signer 1.
- Choose Bulk send and provide the list of recipients (name + email per line).
- OneSigner clones the document per recipient and sends each an individual signature request. Every copy has its own status, audit trail and signed output.
Track all copies under Sent for signature — each behaves like a normal single-signer request, including reminders and expiry.
When to Use Which
| Scenario | Feature |
|---|---|
| Same contract layout, different counterparties over time | Template |
| One document, many individual signers at once | Bulk send |
| Multiple people signing the same copy in order | Regular multi-signer request |
| Fixing a mistake in an already-sent request | Clone & re-send |
